My friend Putu Rose is a five year old fairy house architect in Ulu’s who has a bear named Ted, likes to eat chips, jump off things like she’s flying, the color pink and drawing on everything including the interior and exterior of her own house, she drew me this picture in less than a minute. So I drew her this.
Putu’s parents let her draw and paint on the walls inside and outside of their house. They let me paint on the side of Jiwa Juice (their cafe in Bingin).

in between working on a secret project and applying for grants I’ve been taking a beginning metalsmith class at the Barnsdall Art Park. Pretty basic first piece considering such strict requirements on size, shape, placement of the bezel setting, size of the stone used and finish, but it’s just the beginning.
Sadly, 14 cultural centers including the Barnsdall and the historic Watts Towers Art Center were removed from the RFP a week ago and the bottom line is that to preserve the Arts in Los Angeles these centers need funding and community support. Take responsibility to do what you can to participate it’s important : )
