not believing in love is like forcing a bear to hibernate in your heart, eventually it will contract hypothermia and starve to death or it will claw it’s way out

art by niki kelce…remember… those guts you are talking about, even tho I dead seriously think you have amazing amounts of guts…they are just taking on different costumes now…the blue black skeleton, the clear hearted gumpfrog, they are speaking swedish…swimming in the black sea down in your gut, your stomach…they are drowing in it…all of them, still in tact…you have millions of guts galore!

DIE in the Past
Live in the Future.
THE velocity of velocities arrives in starting.
IN pressing the material to derive its essence, matter becomes deformed.
AND form hurtling against itself is thrown beyond the synopsis of vision.
THE straight line and the circle are the parents of design, form the basis of art; there is no limit to their coherent variability.
LOVE the hideous in order to find the sublime core of it.
OPEN your arms to the dilapidated; rehabilitate them.
YOU prefer to observe the past on which your eyes are already opened.
BUT the Future is only dark from outside.
Leap into it—and it EXPLODES with Light.

Longest Tornaday
Veteran of Veteran’s Day
Here’s some photos from last whirlwinded Wednesday. Todd caught the flu and wasn’t able to make it to the event. I almost didn’t make it myself after multiple train rides and my truck erupting like a volcano on the highway. Luckily, the Element van appeared like a knight in shining arbor and scooped me up. Then my old pal Kershnar showed up and helped fill in the background, we got it done in a little over three hours. I often don’t know what I’m going to paint, I guess I was inspired by what felt like a firework finale of fun + family to end sucha long day.
Oh, and as I sat on the balcony eating cold pizza in my underwear, I witnessed fuzzy caterpillars jailbreak cocoons trailing tiny beads of blood. Sometimes it pays to rob yourself from sleep, right before it catches up with you everything feels like such a treasure.
Here’s some more on the event
